Bob Abrahamson, Elder

Bob and his lovely wife, Virginia have been with Destiny Fellowship since the beginning.  Bob has served as a greeter and usher consistantly since then, as well as on the corporate board of directors off and on throughout the years.  He is currently a member of the Property Development and Improvement Team as well. 

Bob and Virginia, together, bring much wisdom and council to many in our church.  Virginia is active in the greeting ministry as well as the Welcome Center.  They have two sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Greg Covington, Elder

Greg and his wife Debbie have been part of Destiny Fellowship since the two churches (Bonnyview Baptist and Destiny) joined forces in 2008.  Greg served with Bonnyview for over 10 years and is now serving with Destiny.

Greg and Debbie have two young children.  Greg is the coordinator for our communion services, and you will always find him ushering.  He is also the plant manager, coordinating large projects and renovations or additions to the facilities and grounds.  Greg is currently a member of the Property Development and Improvement Team as well. 

Debbie has a gracious gift of hospitalities for visiting ministries. She has also served as children's ministry coordinator.  Talented woman, lovely couple.

Chuck Davidson, Elder

Chuck and Mary Davidson have been a part of Destiny Fellowship almost from the beginning.  Chuck has served on the corporate board of directors off and on throughout the years.  He is currently a member of the Property Development and Improvement Team as well. 

He is actively involved with the senior's ministry "Young @ Heart" and has served on the board of Mt. Lassen Adult Camp and other outside ministry endeavors.

Mary has been very active alongside of her husband, Chuck, but has also been part of the women's ministry coordinating team for many years.  They have one daughter and grandchildren.  The two of them are nearly inseparable and are truly a wonderful couple for young marrieds to pattern after.

Ed DeFoer, Elder

Ed and Brenda DeFoer have been with Destiny since nearly the beginning.  Ed has consistently served as usher, deacon, board member, energizer, uplifter and encourager.  He is currently a member of the Property Development and Improvement Team as well.

Both Ed and Brenda are slow to give an opinion and always acts out of love.  He and Brenda reared their children along with countless foster children throughout the years.  Together, they have wisdom, knowledge, understanding and patience that many young families would do well to emulate.

Brenda has served on the women's ministry coordinating team for many years.  She has an eye for detail and has an uncanny ability to organize and present at all types of functions.  Don't know what we would do without her.
