Our Commission

To Fulfill Our Duty, And Privilege.

As long as conditions indicate that the coming of Jesus draws near, we, His redeemed children, must put forth our utmost efforts to the promulgation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to fulfill the great commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We must carry the life changing message of Jesus to the world in which we live. We must show that Jesus is the answer to man's despair by being an open book, read of all men. (II Timothy 4: 62, Ephesians 5: 16, Proverbs 11: 30, Ezekial 3: 17-18, John 4: 35-37).

To Raise Up The Body Of Christ

The destiny of each believer lays in the dreams of their heart, buried talent and goals that have almost died must be fanned into flame. It is a dream of initiating, developing and cultivating mature believers of Jesus Christ through leadership, discipleship, stewardship and lordship as we pursue relationships through life-applications and meaningful teaching. In order for the body to have functionality, it must understand that all of the innate equipping has been done by God. Now a personal step of faith is needed to make it work.

To Unite The Body

Relationship has sadly been missing in the body of Christ. Satan had driven a wedge between fellow members of the body of Christ and it seemed easy to remain isolated and independent, never being involved with other believers outside the corporate meetings.

Learning that we have accountability to each other, allows each member to weep and rejoice together, bearing one another's burdens, pushing one another higher in God. Wholeness to the body of Christ is obtained through prayer and God's Word tied with the Holy Spirit. It is sufficient for all our needs. We really are made whole by God's power flowing through the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit unites us as no other source can. he has the power to change us from what we were before salvation, and helps us live what God's Word teaches us.

Destiny Fellowship is a family based on relationships all autonomous, united to bringing glory to God with the purpose of intimacy, always Christ-centered, desiring evangelism of the community in which we live, using Biblical principles. Spiritually empowered ministry is based on what we value in our lives - how we invest our time and spend our money is an expression of our values. We must balance this freedom by providing accountability without undue control.

We exist to serve one another as we fulfill our calling and purpose to the communities in which God has placed us.
