UNDERSTANDING YOUR DECISION FOR SALVATION

 

God loves you and wants you to spend eternity with Him.

  • "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3: 16

All of us have sinned.

  • "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3: 23

Sin has a penalty.

  • "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6: 23

Christ paid the penalty for us.

  • "But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5: 8

Salvation is a free gift.

  • "For by grace have you been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2: 8-9

We must receive Jesus into our heart.

  • "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." John 1: 12

  • "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me." Revelation 3: 20

WHAT'S NEXT?

Begin to tell others about Jesus!

  • "If you confess withyour mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from theded, you will be saved. For with the heart one belives to righteousness, and with the mouth confession mde to salvation." Romans 10: 9-10

Start praying.

  • Praying is simply talking to God. You have a new relationship wth God and you can talk to Him about anythg in your life. The Lod love you and wants to have a relationship with you; He cares about evey detail of your life.

Start learning about God.

  • Every Sunday morning at Destiny Fellowship, starting at 9:00 a.m., there is a New Believer's class. This cl provides a great opportunity. You will learn more about God and His pln for your life. This is a great class filled wth oppotunity to ask questions, get help on finding things in the Bible, learn about who "David" or "Ezekiel" were. You will be encouraged in your walk with the Lord and you will find that you are like all of the rest of us.... just simply learning how to live like the Bible tells us to. You will find support and relationship with others... just like you... just like me!!!
